Nursery/feeding centre close to Nairobi requires volunteers to help prepare food and manage small  children. Interesting set up of a nursery school and feeding center for the local children in one of the poorer estates of Nairobi. Volunteer keep the kids active and help prepare food for the Saturday when it seems every child in Kenya turns up for a meal!

Coastal marine Turtle conservation project on Sri Lankan beaches and hatchery. Set in a lovely tropical beach location, volunteer help with the daily running of a turtle hatchery. From seeing them come ashore to hatch, to helping breed them and release them back into the wild. volunteers are there every step of the way. You can even monitor the beach at night on Turtle watch.

Nairobi Children's home. Large busy Children's home in Nairobi for young orphans. Almost 200 young abandoned orphans running around in this poorly supported large home on the outskirts of Nairobi. Fed them, keep them active and offer support to the overworked staff who have to mange the feeding and daily activities for these young ones who don't have much of a future. Come for a little as 2 weeks and make a difference.
